Real Daughters are women who were daughters of Revolutionary War soldiers or patriots, and who were also members of the National Society Daughters of The American Revolution.

Barefield, Jane Floyd -- Grave located at Porter's Chapel, near Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi. Daughter of Francis Floyd and granddaughter of Gilbert Johnstone. (DAR MAGAZINE, March 1977)

Bennett, Maria Rhoe -- d. 2 March, 1915. Grave located in Pratt Cemetery near Bladwyn, Lee County, Mississippi. Daughter of Archibold and Elizabeth Caroline Gilmore Johnson. Transferred to Horseshoe Robertson Chapter from Joseph Habersham Chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. Married J. W. Bennett near Baldwyn.

Bowdon, Mary Bradford -- b. 30 June 1784. d. 28 March 1848. Buried in front part of Kosciusko Cemetery, Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi. Daughter of Thomas Bradford of South Carolina.

Brown, Lydia Laura Lansdale -- b. 23 July 1831. d. 13 November 1862. Grave located in Ebenezer Churchyard (Baptist), Attala County, Mississippi. Daughter of Isaac Lansdale, married James M. Brown.

Butler, Frances Parke Lewis -- Marker on Trinity Episcopal Church Grounds, Pass Christian, Harrison County, Mississippi. Great-niece of George Washington and Martha Washington's great granddaughter.

Curlee, Eleanor McFerrin -- Grave in Rienzi Cemetery, Rienzi, Alcorn County, Mississippi.

Dobbs, Mary Cockerham (Silas) -- b. 9 February 1803. d. 6 April 1866. Buried in Bowles Cemetery, off Highway 9, about 4 miles south of Eupora, Webster County, Mississippi.

Eads, Jane Rankin -- b. 1 August 1817 at Guilford County, North Carolina. d. 22 May 1906 at Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi. m. James E. Eads in December 1836, thirteenth of 14 children of Robert and Mary Rankin. Entered NSDAR in January 1897 as a Real Daughter. Charter member David Reese Chapter, Oxford, Mississippi. During the Revolution her father, Robert Rankin (1746-1840) fought with North Carolina troops un Gen. Rutherford, and was actively engaged in Battle of Yorktown, being present at surrender of Cornwallis. He was placed on pension roll of Gibson Co., Tennessee. A sketch of Mrs. Eads' life was in DAR MAGAZINE, April 1907.

Gibson, Elizabeth Paisley -- Grave located near Ashland, Benton County, Mississippi. Daughter of Col. John Paisley, North Carolina and wife of Moses Gibson, the son of Rev. Andy S. Gibson, South Carolina. (DAR MAGAZINE, October 1933).

Glass, Jane Oliver -- b. 21 January 1824 Sumpter County, Georgia. Daughter of John and Milbry Oliver. Married Levi Jackson Glass, moved to Alabama. Came back to Mississippi where she died in Lauderdale County, 10 December 1902. Buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, eight miles west of Lauderdale Station.

Love, Susannah Caruthers -- d. 1874. Grave located at Wilkes Cemetery, Culloka, Maury County, Tennessee. Husband: John Draper Love. Moved from John Draper Love Cemetery, Maury County, Tennessee 1979.

Ray, Nancy Ann Lansdale -- b. 17 August 1827. d. 17 January 1917. Husband: S. B. Ray. Grave located at Kosciusko City Cemetery, Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi. Daughter of Soldier Isaac Lansdale.

Terrell, Frances Lewis -- Buried at Quitman, Clarke County, Mississippi, (great-granddaughter of Catherine Washington, first cousin to George Washington).

Thompson, Mary A. -- b. 19 June 1837 in Amite County, Mississippi. d. 17 June 1922. Buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gentreville. Daughter of David and Nancy Sojourner Thompson. Moved from Gulfport to Centreville in 1920 or 1921. Member of Gulf Coast Chapter.

Young, Nancy Hampton -- d. 3 July 1844. Grave located at Waverly, 1 mile off highway 50, 7 miles east of West Point, Clay County, Mississippi. Wife and daughter of Revolutionary Soldier.
Marked: 14 September 1976 -- Horseshoe Robertson Chapter.
